Happy Educator, Happy Child, Happy Family

My name is Massey, and I am the provider of Ninigarten Family Day Care. I have been working in early childhood education for over 15 years, and in that time I’ve experienced both the joys and the many challenges that family day care educators face. I know this work is not possible unless you truly love children—every single one of them, by name, with their own personality and story. Being an educator is about so much more than meeting regulations; it means managing emotions, building trust, and creating a safe, loving environment where children can thrive.

The idea for Ninigarten came from my own journey as a mother. When my first child, Liyan, was a baby, leaving him to go to work was one of the hardest experiences of my life. I thought about him constantly, and my heart was never at peace. That’s when I decided to open my own family day care, where I could care for my children while giving them the chance to play, learn, and grow with others. For over 10 years, I raised my own children in this way while also supporting many other families through family day care.

Ninigarten Family Day Care was created from that experience, with a simple belief at its heart: happy educators create happy children, and happy children bring peace of mind to families. Seeing your child open their arms to their educator at drop-off time melts your heart and gives you the confidence to go out and conquer the world, doesn’t it? I know that feeling—I am a mum, and I am an educator.
